Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mother's birthday. Happy birthday Mom!!!

I thought about putting that in the last post, but decided she rated a post of her own. I talked with her and my dad today. After wishing her a happy birthday and a little catching up, she passed me off to talk to my dad. She wanted to finish her birthday ice cream sunday. Go figure, the sunday had priority over her loving son! Just kidding Mom! I wouldn't want my birthday sunday to turn into a birthday milkmonday either! :-)

Dad's got himself a new lathe, but he can't use it yet. He got a good deal on it on ebay, drove 750 miles (one way) to pick it up in his Honda Peak Bagger (or something like that) and it has a 3-phase motor. So, he still needs a new motor to make it work...

This is new insight on my own quirks. Why do I have to do it myself? Why do I save $50 to spend a $100 plus 8 hours to avoid calling a plumber or buying a working tool! Hey, I don't know the answer, but I think I come by those features honestly! My dad's choices make perfect sense to me.

Blogger says I should capitalize sunday, but I just can't do it. An ice cream sunday is just not Sunday to me. I'll bet Dad would agree with me.

Night night again! :-)
